3. Frame the Rider

When the skateboarder is in the air or away then frame the whole rider instead of focusing only on the skateboard.

If you frame the whole body of the skater then you can crop and take your desired part when editing the video. But if you take only a part, you can’t add it by yourself.

4. Diversify your shots

Using variety in your shots makes your video more interesting. You can try different angles like Closeups, Longshot and Cutaway.

Skateboard videographers often use their environments to frame their shots. This technique adds depth and character to what might otherwise have been a standard, even boring, shot.

When you it comes to take more than one take always take it, and have shots from different angles.

5. Try Fish Eye Lense

Skateboarders love to shoot with Fish eye lenses because it make stairs look bigger and rails look longer. Other than these it also makes your video more impressive.

Because in fish eye effect it makes the tricks look more impressive. Ground also look quite impressive.
