How to Kickflip on a Skateboard? Quick and Step by Step

Updated on March 21, 2023 2 Comments

The kickflip is a Skateboarding flip trick, it is also an Ollie variation with a 360° Flip along the axis of the board that extends from the nose to the tail of the deck. It was invented by pioneer Curt Lindgren prior to 1978 and was then modified by Rodney Mullen.

To perform a kickflip you have Ollie in the air, then lift your back foot and Slide your front foot towards the front heel-side edge of the board to flick it 360. Land on your board and that’s it.

The kickflip might not be very easy for you, it could be very hard for you if you are a beginner. But definitely, it is not impossible. You can not only learn it but you can master kickflip if you practice hard.
